COVID-19

In light of rapidly changing circumstances driven by the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and our desire to help protect our community, we have made the difficult decision to transition the vast majority of clinical services to telehealth effective Monday, March 23, 2020 until advisories from the CDC and Oregon Health Authority indicate it is safe to resume face to face services. We will begin the transition process immediately. This decision was guided by our unwavering commitment to the health and safety of our community, and the growing need to take extraordinary preventative measures to assist in this unprecedented public health crisis.

Telehealth services will be provided via Zoom, a HIPAA-compliant video-conferencing service. In order to receive telehealth services from Portland DBT Institute (PDBTI), you will need an email account or capacity to receive a text message with Zoom Link, a computer/tablet with access to WiFi or a smart phone with a data plan or WiFi, and a quiet and confidential location.
If you are a current client, your PDBTI therapist will work with you on how to get set up and going with Zoom.

Before you meet with your provider via Zoom you will need to review and sign the Telehealth Informed Consent below. If you have any questions, please reach out to your therapist.

If you are a new or prospective client, please contact our intake department at (503) 290-3291 or email referral@pdbti.org.

Thank you for your patience and flexibility during this process.
