Abby received her master’s degree in Applied Clinical Psychology from Pacific University in August 2024. As a student clinician, Abby provided group and individual therapy to women with substance use disorders in a residential setting. After graduating, she began working in the intensive outpatient setting, providing IOP therapy to adults navigating PTSD, mood disorders, anxiety, OCD, self-harm, and suicidality.
Abby first became interested in DBT when she learned about it in college, years before becoming a therapist. Upon beginning her clinical career, that early interest blossomed into a deep passion for the DBT model, and how effective the practice of synthesizing acceptance and change is for building a life worth living. Abby is thrilled to be working within a clinic dedicated to providing full fidelity DBT. She looks forward to building supportive, collaborative relationships with her clients while walking alongside them on the path to achieving their goals. Outside of the office, Abby enjoys biking, playing chess, cooking, sunshine, and appreciating life’s ordinary happinesses.
