Viviane earned her degree in Psychology from the University of Southern California, where she studied maternal emotions, attachments, and infant temperament as a research assistant in Dr. Santiago Morales’ Brain, Emotion, and Attention Development (BEAD) lab. As a first-generation college student, she remains deeply aware of the privilege of receiving an education and pursuing work she finds personally meaningful. She hopes to pursue doctoral training in Clinical/Counseling Psychology, with interests in substance abuse, family systems, mood and internalizing disorders. Above all, she is drawn to work that honors the complexity of human experience while helping people build lives they find worth living.
Outside of work, Viviane recharges through travel, painting, and spending time with her husky.
