Molly is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon and is also independently licensed to practice counseling in Iowa, Missouri, and Ohio. Molly completed her Master of Arts in Counseling as well as her Doctor of Education in Counselor Education and Supervision at the University of Cincinnati. Molly fell in love with DBT during her counseling internship in 2009 and devoted her career to it ever since. After completing her degrees she moved from Cincinnati to St. Louis (where she currently resides) for a full-time job as a professor of counseling at Webster University to educate and train future counselors. One of her favorite accomplishments in that position was developing and teaching an elective on DBT to spark her students’ interest in DBT. After experiencing success in academia, Molly felt a strong desire to return to clinical work and is happy to be a member of the Salem team at PDBTI. Highlights of her continuing education in DBT include her intensive foundational training from BTech, a 2-day mindfulness workshop with Marsha Linehan, and a 4-day intensive training in DBT Prolonged Exposure Protocol for PTSD with Melanie Harned. Molly is passionate about helping clients build a life worth living with DBT so that they might allow, have compassion for, and regulate their emotions.
For fun, Molly loves attending classical music performances, cooking, baking, running, and singing.
