Kimberly earned her doctorate in clinical psychology at Pacific University, completed her clinical internship at the California Department of State Hospitals-Vacaville Psychiatric Program in Vacaville, California and her postdoctoral fellowship in forensic psychology at Augusta University/East Central Regional Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. She then returned to Oregon to work as a licensed psychologist at the Oregon State Hospital (OSH) where she continues to conduct forensic evaluations, provides competency restoration services, and provides DBT skills groups to an inpatient population. Dr. Rideout has enjoyed actively supervising predoctoral interns and practicum students and her areas of clinical interest include personality disorders, forensic evaluation, and assessment of psychopathology.
