Brian received his master’s degree in counselling psychology from Boston College in 2001 and been a licensed professional counselor in Oregon since 2008. He has extensive experience working with individuals with borderline personality disorder, substance use disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, and trauma.  Brian first learned DBT in 2001 while working at Two Brattle Center, an intensive outpatient DBT program in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and has gone on to become the team leader of the DBT program at Oregon State Hospital- the first inpatient forensic DBT program to receive program certification through the DBT-Linehan Board of Certification. In addition, Brian is himself a DBT-Linehan Board of Certification, Certified Clinician™.   When not working, he enjoys taking classes at the gym, camping, hiking, gardening, and reading by the fireplace.
