Angeline Fugere

Angeline Fugere

Angie by the numbers:

4 cats owned in her lifetime (1 reclaimed by the original owner, much to Angie’s dismay)
6 years of vegan living
8 years working at a pool but seldom swimming in it, ironically
3100 meters climbed near Baños, Ecuador for fern research
Countless cups of chai tea made

Angie grew up in Milwaukie, OR, with her four older sisters and typically spent her childhood days reading, playing volleyball, or dipping her toes in variety of high school student groups. Determined to pursue her interest in the environment and the well-being of its human inhabitants, Angie enrolled in a small, liberal arts college in Washington. After graduating in 2014, she felt it was time to return to Portland and put to good use that hot-off-the-press B.A. in Environmental Studies-Sociology.
Having several years of experience in the administrative assistant and customer service fields, Angie began at Portland DBT Institute as a Receptionist/Office Assistant.  Angie quickly found a new home at Portland DBT greeting and checking in clients while working on various office tasks.  She soon expanded her duties to become an Intake Coordinator as well as the clinic’s Credentialing Specialist.  When she is not liaising with insurance companies or working with the Intake Team to connect potential clients with treatment services, Angie also functions as the HR and Administrative Assistant to Loren Wampler, the Business Operations Manager.  After a day of work at Portland DBT, Angie likes to hunt down the best local concerts, eat Thai food, snuggle with her fluffy cat, and explore Portland with her friends and family (though not necessarily in that order).
