Alysen graduated from Southern Oregon University with a BFA in Theatre Arts and a minor in History. Her specialization was in Stage Management, so her skills lie in wrangling people, paperwork, and being a point person among different departments. She also possesses certification in UI/UX Design and is working toward becoming a fully trained Court Reporter. Despite not receiving formal clinical training, she possesses knowledge of DBT – having done programs herself and gained experience in a co-lead position. She has nearly a year’s experience as an Administrative Assistant for SO-DBT and greatly enjoys the opportunities to work hands on with clients – even just through intake paperwork. She lives in Southern Oregon with her partner and pointy cat. Her favorite things include iced coffee, scary movies, bugs, and hardcover books. She is a firm believer in delighting in the details and radical acceptance.
