COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course presents an overview of DBT, the evidence-based practice that has been proven most effective for clients with extreme emotional dysregulation. By becoming adept at DBT, clinicians can reduce their own anxiety, and increase their effectiveness with clients who are complex, multi-diagnostic, and may present with symptoms such as suicidality, dangerous impulsivity, or aggression. DBT principles, as well as specific individual and group therapy skills, are presented. This is a fast-paced interactive presentation that consistently receives some of our highest reviews.
