Enrollment in Rockwood EST groups begin October, 2017.
A primary barrier to individuals in East Multnomah County accessing and receiving DBT services has been transportation to and from Portland DBT Institute’s (PDBTI) offices in SW Portland. We are excited to announce PDBTI’s partnership with Multnomah County Health Department to enable PDBTI to provide DBT treatment and mental health services based out of offices in Multnomah County’s Rockwood Health Center.
DESCRIPTION OF EST DBT GROUPS
PDBTI will focus on running our Enhanced Skills Training (EST) program at the Rockwood Health Center. EST is a twice weekly 1 hour skills group where clients are taught DBT skills in a group setting. Skills learned during EST consist of Emotion Regulation; Distress Tolerance; Interpersonal Effectiveness; and Mindfulness. LEARN MORE
